When a woman experiences an unexpected pregnancy, a floodgate of emotions opens up. Nervousness and worry are common feelings to have. You may ask yourself all sorts of important questions like, “Am I ready for this? What do I do now? What are my options? Do I want to do this?”
If you don’t know what decision you want to make about your pregnancy, the best step to take next is to sit down with someone who can help you sort through your thoughts and emotions. You will also find it helpful to get basic medical information about your pregnancy through an ultrasound to inform your decision making. You can take both of these steps through an appointment at Support Circle.
Pregnancy Options
Parenting – Continue the pregnancy and raise the child.
Adoption – Continue the pregnancy, prepare an adoption plan and legally place the child in the home of another individual, couple or family member to parent.
Abortion – Terminate the pregnancy by prescribed medication or surgery within the first 24 weeks. A pregnancy verification is required. An ultrasound will provide this and confirm how far along you are in the pregnancy.
