Am I Pregnant

Thinking you might be pregnant can be very stressful.  One of the best things to do first is verify the pregnancy through a lab-quality pregnancy test, so you can know for sure.

Pregnancy Symptoms
Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy. Understanding the signs and symptoms of pregnancy is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy.

  • Implantation Bleeding
  • Delay/Difference in Menstruation
  • Swollen/Tender Breasts
  • Fatigue/Tiredness
  • Frequent Urination
  • Nausea/Morning Sickness
  • Headaches
  • Dizziness

Every woman is different; not all have or experience the same symptoms of pregnancy. The only way to know for sure if you are pregnant is to take a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy Tests
If you think you may be pregnant, you can find out for sure at no cost. Take a lab-quality pregnancy test at one of our medical clinics. The laboratory-quality pregnancy test administered at Support Circle is more than 99% accurate and is able to detect a pregnancy as early as 10 days after conception. But if your periods are irregular or if you don’t know when your next period is due, we can administer the test two to three weeks after you last had unprotected sex. The results are completely confidential and your visit will not show up on your insurance records.

Emotional Support
If you are pregnant, or think you may be pregnant, in an unintended pregnancy, you may have a floodgate of emotions and questions. You may ask yourself all sorts of questions like, “Am I ready for this? What do I do now? Do I want to parent, create an adoption plan, or have an abortion?”

Each decision carries its own set of unique results and will determine your next steps. We want you to know that you don’t have to face this alone. Talking to our patient advocates, who are nonjudgmental, will help you to sort out your thoughts and emotions and to think through each option. Whatever you decide should be in line with your beliefs and values. The atmosphere in our clinics is always relaxing and calm. It’s completely confidential and it’s all about you. Ultimately, the decision is yours.
